So, when it comes to getting that special portrait session on the calendar, you definitely want to make sure you get a premium time slot. For example, if you live in Southern California, you’re likely to have more than half of the calendar to choose from when it comes to great weather for an outdoor shoot. However, if you live in Minnesota, you might only be able to count on the summer months! Of course weather is never a sure thing, but if you live in a state with a smaller (or very temperamental) window for great outdoor weather, then book your session early and strategically for the best chance of a successful outdoor shoot.
